Consumers Warned of Doll Set at Toys “R” Us Stores

September 26, 2011, Fort Smith, AR – McCutchen and Sexton – The Law Firm on Monday repeated demands previously made to Toys “R” Us Stores to remove You and Me™ Play & Giggle Triplets doll sets from its shelves.  The doll set consists of three dolls which are represented as making “10 realistic baby sounds from each doll.”  However, one of the dolls actually speaks profanity, saying “crazy b****.”

Joey McCutchen of The Law Firm said that he had confirmed that the same doll sets which speak the inappropriate language were available for sale in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama.  McCutchen said that he had learned of at least one instance in which a young girl repeated the inappropriate word after hearing the doll.

McCutchen also said that he learned that the Toys “R” Us Store in Fort Smith, Arkansas had been notified of the nature of the doll set but that the doll sets remain available for purchase at Toys “R” Us Stores.  McCutchen and Sexton – The Law Firm warns any consumers who may have purchased the doll set that the set is not appropriate for children.
